Having said that, there have not been any reports of data-corrupting errors in either the offline or online resizing tools (at least not as far as I can remember).

Up-to-date kernel patches for ext2online use are available in the patches section of the ext2resize project page.
The bleeding-edge version of ext2resize is available via anonymous CVS. However, there may be times when the code in the CVS repository is not working properly. You have been warned.
